Who is Jesus? Part 2

The Jesus Christ Package!

Have you heard of the term 'packages'? There are some stores that sell packages like  gift-packages, combo-packs and others. Did you know that Jesus gave away a package to His believers?
When Jesus Christ was about to go (to Heaven), He gave a power-packed 'package' to His disciples for using for the welfare of human beings. Though it was given for the sake of all believers, but we can learn more of how it was used through the ministry of the disciples. What is that Package?

Matthew 10:7-8 And as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely you have received, freely give.

The 'Package' which Jesus Christ gave to every believer is this:

Heal the sick. II Cleanse the lepers. III Raise the dead. IV Cast out devils.

You may ask questions, out of which I give some which comes to my mind.
Can I heal, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead and cast out devils?
Yes, you can! When you become a believer, you will have this privilege. When you are saved, you get the package. When you put your hands on the sick, they will get healed!

What are these 'devils'? Are they ghosts? Ghost is not from the colloquial terminology of America, it is a Biblical term. But ghost and a devil are different. Devils are supernatural beings, which irritate humans. These being influence people to behave differently, even they are not acting. Have you noticed when your boss is sometimes calm and sometimes flying in a fit of rage? It may be difficult to assume the reason behind it. It does not always have to be a demon, but if he gets so in a rather unusual and irritating way, it is a demon. Moreover if he gets into that rage suddenly from a normal behaviour, there are more chances for it to be demonic. The most important thing is that your boss doesn't become a demon and hence do not get scared of him! Please do not act as if you saw a stray dog, and try to pick some stick, stone or others. When you see your boss in that way, it is simple to handle and believe you can 'kick that devil out'.

What, demons? Should I have to run away or should I fall down flat? Demons do not have a body, so they cannot chase your physical body. Secondly, they do not carry AK-47's or other sophisticated guns, so that you can lie down flat to evade the flying bullets. They simply are beings, whose nature is to irritate humans without disclosing their presence.

If my boss is getting influenced by a demon, then I think so...(?) Yes, you may be correct! When you see the world around you today, you may not be able to say what is natural and what is demonic. They are so alike! For time-being, do not confuse to as what are demons and others.

Well, we shall discuss how to enjoy the full privileges that has been given to us by Jesus!

Giving and taking from God

Here are some inspirational methods to receive grace from God. These are some ways in which we can expect God to move to fulfill our needs.
  1. Do not show to God, that you are needy. Your very spirit would make known to Him your need, in His presence. Instead develop an attitude of service towards Him. Well what is the spirit? That's your inner being.
  2. When you ask God to 'do' a thing or a favour, He would definitely ask you to 'do' a thing. You have to understand that God doesn't need your money. Does God need money to manage things in heaven? Hence it needs patience to know what God needs.
  3. Be ready to receive a request from a saint of God. A person who serves God consciously is a saint. Also try to fulfill the needs of that saint.
  4. Always be ready to learn something. God has many things with Him, which can enable you to live differently.
  5. Be generous in your spirit. When somebody asks for a favour, try to do couple to them.
  6. Never get dismayed because of the delay.
  7. Trust His word, the Bible. What you learn from the Bible (which is correct), is your advantage. Depending on others is good, but never expect to be spoon-fed all the time.
  8. There are seasons in which spiritual forces operate. If Bill Gates invites you to have lunch with him and gives you the choice of the place where to eat, will you take him to a mess? Likewise if his gate-keeper asks you to take to lunch, will you take him to Hotel Chola? Likewise if you happen to go to a powerful church, would you offer what you give to a mediocre church?
  9. Glorify God openly. God likes you to pray secretly, worship openly.
